Good colors & web design

I'm in the need of redesigning my website, fundynamic. It looks dull, grey, yikes. I also want to quit the dutch translation because i get nuts of that

Updating twice everytime is BAD.

But guess what, i suck at creating l33t gfx and such. The theme should be FUN, FREE, GAMES...

some sort of colors of joy, but even when i try to use some hints and tips i end up with the most ugliest color scheme i ever made... any one can hint/help me on this?

hmm.. i bet there is those with more time and better ideas.. but if you give me some tiem i might be able to create a layout suited for you..

a little preview.

The goal for the website is to have a sort of portal to free software for children. Hence the name "4 kids".

I've some plans developing relative simple software for children. All i need is some artist to work with me, or i have to take some drawing lessons :S

Some simple ideas are needed for an introduction.

I have 2 different 'projects'.. The 4 Kids site. Which is as i have it now (easy, plain, primary colors, except for the green ofcourse).

The Fundynamic site needs a new look as well. I probably keep that more 'professional'.

So basicly my first thought has been split up into 2 sections. One section i have my idea for, the other one is still not done yet.

i could problably fix up something for the fundynamic part to the weekend.. since i have little time for anyting right now.. but i got a few ideas i would like to show you..

if you are intrested you can have them.. how much of layout do you want to do yourself?.. do i the basic with tables or you want to do that part.. aswell as filling with infomation..

flash?.. the top could be flash.. im not going to make the whole thing flash..
