Bot Question

I've been told that zbot is the best bot out there yet i can't seem to find any info anywhere about it. All i can find is a 288 meg file that says it is csfull16 +zbot.exe. What exactly is this file? Does it work? Can i play 1.6 with it and bots?

Both zbot and the non-steam version of CS 1.6 are illegal (I believe the file you are saying contained zbot and non-steam version of CS1.6)

After you read the rules, ask yourself "who made zbot, who released it and where did i get it from".
If you can answer all 3 questions with legal answers we can start to talk about that stuff, but until then we do not talk about illegal software. don't be foolish > this ain't no warez site, we make software not steal it.

You guys are freaking paranoid. Obviously young, under 18. If you read my initial post I asked what the hell it was. I never asked where i can get it. I already downloaded it. I wanted to know what it was before I ran it. Chill out and before you point the finger about talking about warez simply state first, that it is an illegal program. I was told to get zbot because it was the only one that worked after the update. I went to google typed it in and a million came up. I selected the first one that was in english. And no it wasn't a ware site it was a clan site. READ you people, read. Don't just make a post saying we don't talk about illegal stuff here.

yes you are older than me, i never thought about that, indeed.
but i ask myself why did he manage to use google to find and download 288MB but did not use the search in this forum.
ok, most users have edited their posts after we asked them to think about their posts (they did not use google first ..).
But the 4th or 5th hit on "zbot" would have lead you to enough info to get the point that is official, yet not released. [remember my 3 questions?]

not to mention what results you get when you then enter "official bot" into the serach. or the simple fact that "someone" tells you it is "the best" but no info found on google ...

So yes i am paranoid, but why not?

For your information, most of us here are older than 20, and some of us are WAY older than that.

You have to understand that this attitude regarding illegal software is a must. The guy who made the zbot, Mike from Turtle Rock Studios, is also a member of our forum. We also assume that people are clever enough to understand that downloading 288 megabytes for a free bot, of which most of the links are either on warez sites or on cheap teenager clan sites, sounds like a paradox, doesn't it ?

Further investigation would have led you to realize it was leaked software.

Please don't ask us to change our attitude: we MUST condemn firmly any attempt to discuss about warez here. Our credibility depends of it. The goal of Bots United is not to be a teenager's gaming forum (although we welcome teenagers as well, that's not the point), but a place where third-party developers cooperate and reach a commercial quality of work and service for FREE. That was a well thought out rational reply and I thank-you. The reason I got upset is that was all that had to be said after I originally posted the first message. If that would have been stated I never would have questioned or continued the thread. Granted I should have done more research but i figured the guy over at steam forums was giving me legit information. That is the whole reason I asked what it was here in the first place because i did do a search here for zbot and got no info on it. and the guy at steam fourms would never answer what it was or where to get it. Anyway dropped and my apologies.
