Default quick question about cheats - 29-06-2006

hey, just wanted to know because the /devmap fueldump etc keeps saying cheats are not allowed on this server or something.

so i wanted to know because i use the /god mode all the time but now it's not working.

also, how could i make it auto allow cheats on every map and stay on during the entire campaign.

u use godmode all time? erm..

it works for me.

just start fritzbot and type /devmap fueldump in console.

i tried all 5 supported classic maps but yea...wont work.

ok, he disabled it for you and enabled it for the rest of us :p

i really don't know what's wrong with it if you are positive that you are starting it up correctly. do other commands like /noclip work?

To confirm Crapshoot, I just tested Radar and Oasis and /god worked just fine. I use it in /devmap all the time when testing my waypoints. I tried it with sv_pure = 0 as well as sv_pure =1 with no differences.

Are you sure that you're running Fritzbot and not just plain ET? To be sure, start the game with the command line "ET.exe + set fs_game fritzbot."

Is punkmaster enabled or not?

i surely run fritzbot and i do enter the right cmds.
well i try again later
and no pb enabled, but i never had it turned on and it worked in the previous version.

Hey Boosted, no one's trying to make you look noobish. I know how frustrating it can be to have a problem and everyone keeps telling you that they don't see it. I've been there many times!

I only get the "cheats not allowed" message when I start a map normally -- that is, open up ET/fritzbot, select START, highlight a map, then select START SERVER, wait for the map to load, then type /god at the console.

If I then go into the console, type /devmap <mapname>, let the map load, then /god works for me. Or I can use the /devmap command from the console while in the ET menu system without going through the START SERVER procedure.

This is step-by-step what I do:
1. Start ET
2. Selecte MODs, and choose Fritzbot
3. When the map selection menu comes up, go into the console and type /devmap <your map name>
4. When the map loads, select your class
5. When you get out of limbo, go into the console and type /god.
6. Tell us if that works, or what messages you get.

BTW, you have to go into god mode every time you spawn -- it won't stay on thoughout a campaign. You'd have to do a /devmap for every map in the campaign as well.

i know whats the "bug".
i always tried battery (since i use currently the 6 classic maps) so id have cheats through the whole campaign.
but anyhow it isnt working in 0.70 , in 0.60 it worked...as well as in every other mod.
