Just got my server up with Fritz .70 and I have some questions.
1. With the hitsounds is it possible to forcecvar them so they default on for players? If so what are the steps to do so?
2. Now that there are hitsounds available will hitsound sound packs work with this?
3. This is really more about maps, but is someone maybe working on Xposed? I'd really love to see that map waypointed.
Congratulations to the whole Fritzbot team for once again putting out a great Bot. Congratulations to Maleficus with your new job, You'll truly be missed by the ET community.
To all of the other members of the Fritzbot team I hope you all continue to give of your time as you can for ongoing support of Fritz. Thanks agian.
The hitsounds are a client side choice - you (as the server) can't force ppl to have them on. Fritz's hitsounds work differently then most mods - its much cheaper bandwidth wise the way I do it.
You can have custom hitsounds if you wish - just know that all clients will be forced to DL it, but not to use it, if you run a pure server.
The maps will come in time - even without me working on the code, the waypointers have all said they want to continue supporting maps, and the code is in a good enough state they should have no problems.
Actually it's just etmain with Fritzbot. Fritzbot doesn't support those other mods. Although there has been some whom have used Whaleclient with it for the hitsounds and killing sprees. But thats about it. I know the Fritzteam was working on XPsave but I'm unsure of the status of that now that future versions have stopped.
The best you can do at this time is set up 10 map campaign cycles so that there is limited XPsave from cycle to cycle. Even without XPsave no other bot comes close to this one.
it's a standalone mod, so no mixing with etpub or jaymod.
I plan on starting XPSave soon.

I believe 420Blunt will be starting this shortly. SteelRat had planned to do it for the release, but he started (and finished) a new map called Snatch2 instead.
