Hi,

@Battenoff
I did it like that:

I started the Fritz Bot ET (AFAIK i dosenīt choose "Dedicated LAN"!) and my mates started there "normal" ET.
I opened a Game (Oasis) and my mates connected via "connect to IP".
They wrote "localhost" or "192.168.bla.bla"(my ET Fritz IP) and started
downloading the bot.

Worked fine with 6 real dudes and some Bots

Hope that helped u a bit.

Question Re: Trouble setting up small LAN?? - 14-04-2006

Thanks guys

I will try the connect option tonight when we give it a bash for the first time and I'll let you know if we had any success or not. While I have some small but brief attention you could'nt tell me or direct me to a thread on how to install new Fritzbot compatible maps could you?......My trial run of Fritzbot works a treat on Oasis and Radar but when i get to sw_somthing, somthing(blonde moment).....It tells me it cant find map?.....I have managed to download ET map packs and extracted them into my ETmain folder.......is the the way i should be doing it with Fritzbot to?...........

If this thread has become to complicated please redirect me to the door.....LOL

Good News

You advice worked a treat... ...managed to all connect to Myself running FritzBot and the others through ~ connect ET......Strange thing though, had to manually add bots to game as apposed to bots starting by them selfs.

Might be somthing or file in the wrong spot maybe....

Again ...thanks for your constructive help.....
