Need Help Please

hi there,
im looking for a bot to play on my server when on one it playing or somthink to look like it play so it will all ways have 1 player in.

i have a lunix server i pay for from clanservers.com

its not a decoited or what ever server so i don't know if i can run it

is there a way of uploading the bot file to my ftp on the server and restart it and bot will join ??

Read this topic and also this.
When You get this bot to work - write in Your podbot.cfg file this line
min_bots=0
max_bots=1
This way if no one will paly on the server You will have still one bot on it. When Someone joins thi sbot will be automatically kicked out. But if someone will join and it will see there is no player on Your server - it will feave it. So maybe put some more bots on this sserver (for example max_bots=4)?

ok i have setup the bot but its not working.
some stuff i never under stood ... im using a lunix server so is this what i did

uploaded the podbot and the metamod in the addon dir in the ftp,
on my server all ready im using the amxmod so i all ready have a plugins.ini

this what it look's like.

please not the file and server is not running from my pc it hosting on a server i upload the file thort ftp

OK -it may mean also "copy". If You are not using all in one installer - just grab fullpack R2B46d unzip it and upload it to Your server (I mean all podbot directory into addons folder on Your server).

change the last line into
linux addons/podbot/podbot_mm_i386.so
restart Your server and try to join it and write in console
meta list
and look if podbot is whole loaded or not (badf for example if not loaded).

Update Your AMX to 0.9.9b version (it supports bots correctly).

DONE THAT and total wicked the bots join when i restarted the server and im thats shit at CS they keep killing me lol

here what i wanna do next

i wanna add the bot's say about 4 bot's untill 2 real players join then i would like the bot to leave to the 2 real players can play and whn 1 goes it will bring the bot's back

what would i need to do to make that

No - they can't be so smart to wait if there is at least 2 players - then they should leave the server (all).
The function autoadd/kick bot works this way - one player joins -> one bot is kicked; one player leaves the server -> one bot joins the server. So when You write max_bots 4 and You use fillserver command (or 4 addbot commands) - then at Your server You have 4 bots - one player joins -> one bot is kicked - they still can play 2:2. Second player joins - one bot is kicked again - You still have the situation 2:2. And if some of Your players decides to leave the server - bot is back to the server (still 2:2). But if You know AMX or AMX X and You know scripting langauge "small" You can write the plugin which will do the function You want. But it's the question to another forum..
