Bot install help: Running bots on steam

i am running counterstrike 1.5(or 1.6 but i think most likely 1.5) on steam and i dont know how to install the bots on it

i downloaded some bots, and i installed to "C:\Program Files\Steam-Down\SteamApps\xxxxxx\counter-strike"

the installation replaces & backs up "liblist.gam" in "\cstrike"

now every time i run the game and i click new game then start counter strike automatically exists!

i replaced the liblist.gam again(the 1 that was backed up) and now it is running again but still no bots.

i am not sure if there are bots installed or not coz i dont know the command to add bots, but i dont see anything like add_bot or mp_add_bot or bot_add or realbot_add or something like that in the list so u doubt they are installed

any help is appreciated.

Why don't You ask at the forum of the bot You are trying to install and have the troubles? Or You want to know how to install any bot (You don't have any favourite one)? In this case You have to know there are few types of installation of bots and they need to be described separately - so it's better if You will ask at particular bot forum (You need to decide to choose one of them).

ok i found out what was wrong but i still need help
i am missing the bot.cfg file
so podbot is working but i cant enter commands in the console coz i need the bot.cfg file

any help is appreciated

I am pretty sure you will need to use the included liblist.gam.

The bot.cfg is included in the installation of the mod afaik.
