Default Best Bot for CS 1.0 - 24-07-2005

I have CS Retail, and it's at 1.0 (not Steam).

I was wondering, what would be the best bot for it, I'm mainly concerned with intelligence.

Thanks

Better update your CS to 1.5 retail (1.0.0.5) and after that all bots will support it. The update is free just look at google.

I'd suggest him to simply upgrade to Steam... what's so wrong with it ?

I can't use Steam because of my firewall, and since I have a crap computer, 1.0.0.5 doesn't perform as well as 1.0.0.0.

If it's PodBot 2.5, I'll use that. I just had a bad experience with IvPBot when I tried it out just before:- the bots throw grenades onto themselves, and run away when another bot shoots them and all sorts of weird things

Heyyo,

technically all podbot-modded bots should work on CS1.0

Now, if you do use PODbot 2.5? use this botskill.cfg cause the one that comes with PODbot 2.5 is incorrect and that's why they turn instantly n' such. I know this one's correct as it's the exact same as the one that comes with PODbot mm.

[EDIT]
For those who don't know the prob, it's cause CF said he changed the stuff like "HEAR_SHOOTTHRU" to "HEAR_SHOOTTHRU_PROB" but it diddn't work and stayed as "HEAR_SHOOTTHRU" thus the default one that comes with PODbot 2.5 isin't even loaded, and uses some odd default settings. So technically, all you have to do to fix the botskill.cfg is to delete the "_PROB" parts from the cfg file.
