Default Ugh - 25-06-2004

Well i finally got software so i can make my own music. I can make my own samples, mix them, make effects, etc. Now i got this great tool, it works pretty well and guess what.

I have worked on music for a few hours and nothing productive. Quite a bummer.

Anyway, i always have some chords to start with, but not a real song. Besides, the program is does not 100% work as i want it all the time. Lots of buttons, lots of info.

I guess it should also be something impulsive. Creating music on demand (as i call it) is not that easy.

rofl

right

that's exactly what happens when I sit down and grab my guitar. Most of the time I forget what I was about to play as soon as I have it in hand. It's au-to-ma-tic. And what is furiously frustrating is that when I HAVE a song in mind, that I have it PRECISELY, or when I'm under whatever inspiration, there's no guitar around !!!

Creating music on-demand is impossible IMO. Or else you end up spouting radio-calibred FM crap. Never make a living of it, dude

I wonder how a guy like J.S.Bach could produce two or three cantatas a week, actually ???

i bet Bach was stoned as hell

I have the same problems as u PMB When i have a song in mind, there is nothing to play with, and the idea goes away. Even if i try to memorize it!

Argh.

I have the same problem with jokes & lyrics -and I never remember to write them down, even though I now carry a notebook w/pen expressedly for the purpose. (Well, it would dispute that, being an address book, but hey.)

Noooo... I was very active, but as I recall we changed forums twice, and I haven't been an avid cstrike player for about four years...
