Problems with cs 1.5

You say that meta list returns that 1 plugin is found, but none running. Which plugin is found?

Try this -
1 - Try running metamod with ONLY realbot (i.e. do not load AMX or any other mod). If this works, then the problem could be in the syntax of your metamod plugins.ini or a conflict of some sort with another mod.
2 - If step 1 don't work, then try running metamod with ONLY AMX. If this works then something is wrong with your Realbot installation.


Quick check for correct RB, metamod and WIP installation -

If you installed C-Strike 1.5 to D:\Games\Halflife\cstrike, then make sure Realbot and metamod are installed as follows -

metamod - D:\Games\Halflife\cstrike\addons\metamod

Updated version of metamod.dll - D:\Games\Halflife\cstrike\addons\metamod\dlls

Realbot -
D:\Games\Halflife\Realbot

Latest WIP -
D:\Games\Halflife\Realbot\dll

Line to load metamod in D:\Games\Halflife\cstrike\liblist.gam -
gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"

Line to load RB in D:\Games\Halflife\cstrike\addons\metamod -
win32 ..\realbot\dll\realbot_mm.dll

NOTE - the gamedll line inthe liblist.gam file must REPLACE the default gamedll line that is in there.

yep it's all done just like that (file locations are different but that's cause my computer's set up different???)

I'll try the new WIP hopefully that'll help

oh, And I can get amx to load just fine....and the new .dll didn't help

Hey guys, I did as Cybawolf suggested for my problem where I would get the "define the adminmod plugins.ini file" error message & a memory error. I am using RB AI 1 with the latest WIP & it doesn't like the latest adminmod. Maybe someone can figure out a fix for that? BTW, my plugins.ini file is right where it's supposed to be so that has me stumped as to why it's causing that error.

and now 1.6 crashes...it won't end.

oh and btw, i can get the regular 1.0 to work just fine still, in fact i was just kicking some bot ass a second ago

Ur not tryin to run amxmod and adminmod at the same time r u? Because that will cause u lots of problems.

Your metamod/plugins.ini should look like this with out the addons;

; Realbot
win32 ../realbot/dll/realbot_mm.dll RealBot


And make sure that the realbot_mm.dll is in that folder too. I know it might sound stupid but its usually something really easy that causes u lots of problems.

I got ine working, it had to do with the adminmod.dll I had which I thought was latest but wasn't.

do I have to have RealBot after the directory?

and I just copied my entire plugins.ini file. I don't have anything runnign.

the newest version of realbot WIP is in that folder as well.
