Awesome!

I'm glad the patch fixed this annoying issue forever, and its good to hear that theres a dedicated RTCW community out there.

Even tho I'm on 56k, I'll have to jump on the server and watch ppl's reactions when they realize they're playing a bot.

Cheers!

Yes, it's pretty funny to see their reaction if they realize they're playing with bots..

Testing on the HP-Matches server has been halted due to stability issues.

I included a log file from the dedicated server, so you can see for yourself how unstable it currently is.

I do hope there is a solid solution to settle the problems. If that wouldn't be possible, than it's the end of the test-phase and the end of a 24/7 RtcW FritzBot-server..

Is this the same server thats been running the last 4-5 days without issue, or a different one?

Basically, my question would be how long has it been running?

Also - what is the FireDaemon thats constantly turning itself off and on? I've never heard of it before.

I'll take a look at the code from my end.

It's running for 6 days now.

There were problems from day 1, but they seem to get worse as you can see in the log. The slot limit has already been set from 64 to 32. The private clients are on 0 as been advised.

The server has been reset completely several times already.

Hans

p.s. Maybe we could get in contact on a more direct way, like via Xfire (antonius007) or via MSN (sven.hassel@hccnet.nl). The forum is a bit circumlocutory.

FireDaemon is a services/process-handler (And wolf.mp is been seen as a service).
It's been needed because several several game-servers are running on that server.

Hans

p.s. thanks for you're looking after it...

Don't have Xfire or MSN. Guess I'm behind the times......
