Default RBAI # 3 help needed in WAYPOINTING? - 23-01-2004

I have downloaded a lot of as_,cs_,de_ etc maps,
but can't waypoint them, any links for waypoint pwf files???

Anyone have completed waypoint files for download.

Anyone know of good basic waypointing tutorial other than REALBOT website
tutorial(coz I tried that !)?

Can anyone tell me what are we supposed to do when "waypoint end" cmd is entered.
Since my machine doesn't do anything? Its suppose to say something like "have fun playing, waypoint completed"?
Any help is appreciated!

Unfortunately if you are using the Final Release of Rb (v1.0) then you will need to waypoint all new maps manually. Also, I think that .pwf files are for podbot (and therefore won't work with Realbot).

If you're ok with setting up Metamod, then I would suggest that you download and install the latest Realbot WIP (work in progress), build 2079 (or WIP #7). This enables the bots to learn the map automatically, by watching human players. All you need to do is run around the maps, and after a few rounds the bots will use those routes (very basically put, as I think it's even more intelligent than that).

Stefan's download page has all the links you need for the latest WIP, as well as the 'RB-friendly' version of metamod.dll

To use the latest WIP, you have to setup Realbot to work with metamod (which is easy).
