Hey Mal, DrEvil from Omni-bot. Was browsing your site and noticed the screens in your beta .5 thread that show your waypoint drawing and couldn't help but chuckle at how we both happened to implement it pretty much the same way. My screens I guess great minds think alike?
Heh, you should see the old way I did it: last year before I changed the waypoint editor over to the client side, I was just using TempEntitys on the server side, so I just represented the node radius with just 2 lines, like a compass. The better to not run over the entity limit.

Hello DrEvil.
Btw are there any feat's in yr bot that reduce lag and pings in game (when play no online , just like singlplayer with bots) like in Mol's FritzBot ? Its important for me...
Not sure what you mean. Like unlagged 2.0 or something?
Omni-bot runs with ET, ETpub, ETF, and HL2 and HL1(both unreleased currently).
Maleficus, unfortunately my line drawing is still entity based, as I wanted to limit client side modifications as much as possible. I've just limited it to ~500 lines and sort them from closest to farthest so the farther ones get 'culled'.

Yes DrEvil, U're right.
I meant this - smthn like unlagged thing in game to reduce ping and lags. Has yr bot it ? if no so play goes really slowly during the game in multyplayer with bots ...

You mean like code optimization so things take up less PC resources and reduce overall lag correct?
