Default DOES RB work with the latest steam? - 22-01-2004

I have gone through the instructions a few times over to no avail. Added the +localinfo line to the target for MM, no bots join after using the rb_addbot 1 2 5 "Dude" cmd. Any ideas?

Yes it does! One way that should fix the problem is to (1)shut down steam if its running, then (2)delete the liblist.gam file, then (3)start steam and (4)get into counter strike, (4b)exit cs, (5)then edit your brand new created liblist.gam file!

I've tried running RB from the liblist as well but still no go. I ran it using the +localinfo line a few months back before mty hd died without problems but now with steam, I can't get it working.

nonono...

did you follow my directions exactly? DELETE your liblist file (without steam running), then start it again and run cs so it creates a brand new liblist... Then edit your liblist file, and make sure it has this in it...

Quote:
game "Counter-Strike"
url_info "www.counter-strike.net"
url_dl ""
version "1.6"
size "184000000"
svonly "0"
secure "1"
type "multiplayer_only"
cldll "1"
hlversion "1111"
nomodels "1"
nohimodel "1"
mpentity "info_player_start"
gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"
trainmap "tr_1"
Then write protect it, and then play.

This is assuming you have the WIP version?

Ok that's the dll I wanted but now that it's in place & the ini file edited, I get 2 new errors I never had before.
One about the plugin ini for AM & a memory error about the memory not being read.
What now?

don't run AMX till you defenatlly get RB working, if you need to run AMX, then makes sure that only, csstats/fun/mysql are running in the amx modules, and there are NO active plugins in the AMX plugins file

e.g.

; csstats.amx (non active)
csstats.amx (active)

I don't use amx, just adminmod & the plugin ini is defined properly.
This is how my admin.cfg is in relation to the plugin.ini file;
admin_plugin_file "addons/adminmod/config/plugin.ini" & that's exactly where it is but if I try loading the realbot_mm.dll, it says I need to define it & also get that memory error which says...
"The instruction at "0x01402f37" referenced memory at "0x0126448c". The memory could not be "read".
Any ideas?
