I'm not trying to get into an arguement about rbv10. I just haven't had any luck with it. I asked for assistance on the old RealBot bulletin board and this board at bots-united trying to get some help. No one stepped up offering any suggestions, so I concluded based on the lack of responses and my experience that the linux version of RealBot 1.0 wasn't working properly on linux servers.

Thanks for all the good information in the above posts. I will try these on my server while I wait for the WIP for linux.

Maybe the linux directions for rbv10 could be edited to add the steps td3201 and memed discovered.

I've now installed RB on my Windows CS 1.5, i've started a ListenServer on cs_italy and waited for making the waypoints. Then i've put the created waypoints file on my Linux Server and started it on cs_italy.
I waited really a long time, then i tried to add a bot, but it's not yet working!

Is there anyone at all, who is running a CS 1.5 Linux Server with RB????

It works for me now!
Thx a lot to the people, helping me with my problem!
But the problem was my installation dir. I've reinstalled RB exactly like in the Readme and now it works!
I know that i should have :RTFM: firts but I did not expect that the installation dir makes any difference!
