I haven't done any of the oc-ing my self, if you look at the picture, I used that Find Max Core, and Find Max Mem. If you look above you'll see the default speed. And I have scanned for artifacts, and it's all fine and dandy. But for some reason it's not topping out like i've seen at diff. sites. I googled "overclocking 9600 pro" and found this: http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NDY0

They were able to OC there 9600 pro core to 567 and mem to 357. How do I do this safelfy manaully, instead of using the "Find Max Mem". I've read that I should increase by 5MHz everytime, and then search for artifacts. About how long do I search for them, cuz the ATI tool has a scanner for that, but it runs endlessly. And also where could i get the proggie to monitor the temperature of my graphics card?

You need to check that there actually is a thermal sensor there to begin with before you can check the temperature. I thought Ati tool can detect if you have a sensor, I don't know where to find a program that monitors graphics card sensors, but Motherboard monitor and Sisoft sandra can detect mobo sensors.
personally I just stick my hand against the lower side of the case and fell the heat of the side. Warm means you should be careful and invest in a exhaust blower maybe, and if its hot your screwed as you have probably done damage to your card for a mere ~10fps increase.

here is what you will need
Pick the catagory you are under
  1. The Video Card Has No Fan Currently
    1. Get or rig a fan onto the card
    2. Or Get a new thermal cooler for it. Personaly I am using the GIANT III from thermaltake. I wouldn't suggest Water Cooling for the video card alone unless you just want aproject to do or the video card is excessivly hot.
  1. The video Card has a fan
    1. depending on how hot the video card is then you may think about getting a bigger fan or even bigger heatsink. IE the giant III or giant II or coolermaster.
    2. There is a temp gauge that comes with ATI tool. If the CORE TEMP (NOT THE AMBIENT TEMP) is above 70C then you should seriously consider new cooling solutions. If it is between 50C and 69C then you're ok you shouldn't need anything more. And again liquid cooling is not needed. I am running a 9800XT OC and I have the GIANT III from thermaltake on it, and it hardly ever gets about 70C. I am also using Arctic Silver 7 which helps a lot.
