You'd be the ideal candidate to write a dictionary about this topic, complete with exact definitions. When I ever need to translate a text about open source software, free software and freeware or available sources, I'll contact you...
Roses are #FF0000, violets are #0000FF // all my base, are belong to you.
as a note, winex is the OLD name for cedora, when they changed, so did the licence, and the cost. you gotta pay something like $5 for cedora from transgaming.

Heh, yeah, I read up on that, it's even on the official transgaming website. (the whole winex and cedega thing..) And they jacked up the price by $5. It used to be $5/month, now it's $10/month... interesting how much a name change does these days eh? 9_9

for now, non-free version of Cedega aka WineX is obsolete and it can be fully replaced by WINE now
I wish you where right...but Direct X in Wine is still very alpha afaik. Besides I think Cedega will support games (ie make special code changes for different games) more then Wine does.
