There are some maps where you can only make one one direction waypoints and then it gripes at you when its no 2 directional, EX: 12gaugecage. When I make waypoints that go one way from the top, where the spawn point is. There should be an option to disable the "no path from xx to xx" message that pops up when playing.
I'm talking about those maps that have spawn points up high on boxes and its just confuses the bots if you make 2-way points up to the top. If you only make 11way points then it nags ya all day.

I dunno, I waypointed de_marrakech, and there is exactly the kind of spawn points you mention, but I don't remember being flooded with "no path to waypoint" messages. Then again, maybe I was just lucky...
And in the end, you are absolutely right. There are maps which make a "correct" waypoint system impossible, so the error display should have an option to be turned off. I think it could even be turned off by default, because 95% of all people use a bot for playing and not for waypointing - and waypointers are the only ones for whom this message is really interesting.
Roses are #FF0000, violets are #0000FF // all my base, are belong to you.
Sometimes a waypointer really doesn't want to connect some WPs, to prevent some situations, but this WP's checking system in code doesn't let do this...
yes i encoutner this problem a lot but you have to remember the bot is only as smart as the waypointer, the coder, and the player make it. I don't know if that makes any sense to you or not. The connection system works so that if a connection is incoming only the bot will never go towards it, so if there is a long hall and the waypoint at the end of the hall is incoming only the bot usually won't eeven go down the hall there is not point
