Default issue with realbot commands WIP 9 - 09-09-2004

Heya, I've read through as much information that I could find, however I'm still missing a few things:

I've managed to get the bots to work alright, however I am having to use the console with the old "realbot add # #" stuff. I don't mind that at all, except sometimes I want to do other things, like make them stop shooting, etc.

I isntalled the latest metamod and am using that to run realbot..

Since I'm not quite sure what information is relative I'll just post everything that could be

This is from my liblist.gam:
gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"

This is from my plugin.ini for metamod:
win32 C:/program files/steam/steamapps/chill11811@com...realbot_mm.dll RealBot

My realbot_mm.dll file, is sitting in this folder:
C:/program files/steam/steamapps/chill11811@comcast.net/counter-strike/realbot/dll/ *Along with realbot.dll*

Here's how I installed:

1. deleted my steamapps/counter-strike folder, and started fresh.
2. installed metamod via hands on (created metamod folder and created the ini.. nothing else)
3. installed realbot AI 1.0 (activating it for CS 1.6)
4. changed liblist.gam and editted the line I mentioned above
5. editted my plugin.ini for metmod to the line I mentioned above
6. ran the game.

Thanks for your help in advance, and I apologize for being an ignorant fool (probably)

ok, so, what seems to be the problem again?
AFAIK, WIP 9 does not support making them stop shooting.
try WIP 10, and then look at the wiki for the commands you can issue to them

heh, sorry, the problem is, it seems to only run on the old commands (ie: realbot add ##, instead of rb_addbot). This wouldn't be a problem, however I wanted to use the feature of the bots not shooting.

I'll try WIP 10, thanks for the suggestion

P.S> What is a "wiki" ?

*edit*
downloaded the latest WIP, and it didn';t change anything =\*

Don't know the exakt diffinition of a wiki....
But if you go to this wiki page all you questions will be answered (not really, but some of them anyway)

http://server.bots-united.com/wiki/i...WIP%20commands

And don't miss the wiki link at the top right of this page....

And another thing, the rb_addbot # # is the OLD way and realbot add # # is the new way.
Maybe you need a new command.txt from the filebase? or just use the commands on the wiki page.
