Desperate help needed.. PLEASE HELP

Well ever since the new Steam Update 29th april 2004
realbot destroys my own servers
what happened before is id start up cs then new game and either waypoint or mess bout with bots with my friend
since this new update when i load up game and it says my half life launcher has made sum kind of error and needs to close.. report to microsfot etc.. ???
before i reinstalled realbot and it worked again.. so i tried it.. and if anything it made it worse..
also what i noticed.. when i was waypointing sum maps such as cs_militia and cs_16fighter jus crash now with the half life launcher error!!
2 of my fave maps.. ruined >
please if you either experienced this and/or know a way to fix this i'd be delighted.. cos right now im kinda pissed off

Some info about OS (W32 / Linux), Server (listenserver / dedicated) and bot version + a list of all mods you're running would make it easier for other RealBot guys to help you...
if you have AMX running, then this might be helpful (other bots also had problems; it seemed to be AMX-related):

If not, I fear I can't help you much since I don't have RealBot. Did you try the usual Steam tricks like deleting clientregistry.blob, custom.hpk and check for your mp.dll? Just some suggestions; if you aren't too sure, better rename instead of delete - not to make matters worse than they are.

Btw, I can only recommend installing CS 1.5 as a waypointing installation and use 1.6 for playing only. 1.5 is more robust and cannot be affected by auto-updates...

well i said it was a local game server..
i dont think got amx mod but i use it in a different server so im not sure

didnt try any of those tricks.. suppose i could try.. keep getting this damn half life launcher.exe error AARGH:RTFM:

thank you very much T Wrecks.. I deleted client reg.blob and cumstom.hpk and went over my realbot stuff eg liblist and activation etc
well its much better now and it worked.. HURRAH
except after one round on militia it crashed and i got my good old half life launcher etc
not sure if jus cos iv fcked over the map tryin 2 edit the waypoints or not.. but ill see another day.. anyway thanx..
case closed.. always wanted to say that

i've been having the same problem since the update and i went and deleted the clientreg.blob and custom hpk, and i went in and tried to start a new game and i got a message saying "the instruction at 0x16a257b9 referenced memory at 0x16cc0cc8. the memory could not be read." can anyone give me a hand with this?
oh, i'm not running amxmod, and i'm on winXP

i remember having that once but i dunno whts up with yours.. what i did to fix mine was delete the blob and hpk file and then deactivate realbot first.. then i made liblist.gam read only
loaded cs and started a new game.. waited for about 20seconds and then closed the game and cs
activated realbot for cs 1.6 and loaded cs and new game.. and hey presto your bots are there!!!

No Problem mate.. mind you my CS has started playing up so I'm getting quite angry.. In my search to find a new cure I found a new game in Counterstrike 1.5.. Half-Life Redmeption to my surprise will be playing that until I can be bothered fixing CS.
NB also means waypointing maps will be delayed but i suppose thats in time for my exams
