Pon's Big Book of how to fix things - Read first (Please make Sticky)

First, before you go on, :RTFM: :RTFM: :RTFM: :RTFM: !!!!!

Here are the things I am going to show you how to fix.

1. RealBot doesn't load
2. I can't add bots
3. I get strange errors with hexadecimal numbers in them (eg 0x23a4f7e)
4. I get errors with an error report button.

1. RealBot doesn't load

First, make sure you have the latest metamod dll from the RB website. If that doesn't work, try disabling all other metamod plugins, like AMX. If that doesn't work, make sure that the liblist.gam file has the proper gamedll line, ie "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll" for win32. If it is something like "dlls\mp.dll", change it to the metamod dll, and make liblist.gam read-only. If that fails, please make another thread with details of your CS configuration.

2. I can't add bots

First, make sure you have the correct dll in liblist.gam. See '1. Realbot doesn't load' for details. Also, make sure that you are using the correct commands, eg 'rb_addbot'. If that doesn't work, make another thread with details of your CS configuration.

3. I get strange errors with hexadecimal numbers in them (eg 0x23a4f7e)

This is usually caused by a bad map, or by AMX. AMX has a new version, which is incompatible with most old modules. Disable them by going to cstrike\addons\amx\modules.ini, and comment out the modules. Then goto http://amxmod.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22409 and download the new modules, and install them, and if that doesn't work, try commenting out the modules one at a time so you can still use use them.If that doesn't work, make another thread with details of your CS configuration.

4. I get errors with an error report button.

Go to addons\metamod\config.ini and comment out 'gamedll ..\realbot\dll\realbot.dll'. Also remove the equivalent in the command line arguments.If that doesn't work, make another thread with details of your CS configuration.
