Default Performance Issues - 05-04-2004

i'm running RB WIP 3005 on Red Hat 7.3 and steam (quite new version) without major problems. The most common prbolem is the laggy game - all is well playable on 5/5 and i get ping around 30 but with the more bots - like 10on10 i get heavy ping spikes around ping 200 or more.
All gets very lagg on each round start , and the more bots are dead the less lag. So maybe some interesting tweaks around to help me out (i hear those voices 'better CPU'but thats not a help for everyone). Also looking forward to see server on similiar hardwarelevel with its results/configuration.

Hlds Steam version but with -nomaster -insecure +sv_lan 1:
metamod 1.17 from page of realbot
amxmod 0.9.8 with about 70 plugins (miscstats, but i have noticed that amx is not a lagissue in here)
pingboost usually 1, i gotta test other values

Hardware Server specifiacation
Via Apollo with AMD K6-II 450 overclocked to 500 MHz, but it is stable unless 50st C , usually CPU temp is below 40st C.
40 gig Seagate Barracuda 4
160 MB RAM
Intel PRO Set 10/100+ working with Kingston 10MBit hub (16pots but 4 are used, lan is not overloaded - merely CS playing )

also using rate 9999, cl_udpaterate 50 cl_cmdrate 50 - i have noticed the best performance/low ping with that setting
