Idea: new variable "pb_tkpunish"
It would be nice to add a variable "pb_tkpunish" like YapBot (yb_tkpunish)
|
Re: Idea: new variable "pb_tkpunish"
What does it is supposed to do?
|
Re: Idea: new variable "pb_tkpunish"
It looks like a Team Kill Punish command.
It's something an AMX X Mod does. Where a bot chooses to punish or not for team killing. |
Re: Idea: new variable "pb_tkpunish"
This command allows attack players opened fire on teammates
For example, I opened fire on teammate bot and he began shooting in response to me Try this on YapBot when yb_tkpunish "1" |
Re: Idea: new variable "pb_tkpunish"
Disable ATAC plugin
|
Re: Idea: new variable "pb_tkpunish"
I did not know that the latest version PodBotMM they too began to shoot at teamkillers
remains only to add a variable to enable / disable it |
Re: Idea: new variable "pb_tkpunish"
The goal of the bots is to play with artificial Intelligence that operate like human players.
Any human would fire back if someone was trying to Team Kill them. Some are just unlucky and don't have a chance to get back at them besides in the spawn area the next round(s). I don't really see a purpose of making a variable if the bots are already doing what they are supposed to. However one thing to test is, if you have Friend Fire off and attack them, do they shoot back? It might be a bug or something, only then would a variable be required. But last I knew if friendly fire was off on the server, then team punishing was off too. Forcing the hoster to constantly jumble cvars will make it one more thing the hoster will have to do to in configuring things. Simplicity is the key, especially when someone is just starting to use the bot for the first time. |
