Yarr mateys!

Now as I seem to become a Bots United member, I suggest you all browsing these forums to try out Pirates, Vikings and Knights (HL mod) and tell us what you think about it.

In Pirates, Vikings and Knights, there's three teams: Pirates, Vikings and Knights! (surprise!) The teams fight each other for really no good reason. But still... It's great fun! =)

Also make sure that you download the beta 2.1 version. 2.2 is buggy, and should not be used. (Causes random crashing.)

And... remember to try out my bot too! ;)

That's a weird bug. A few of my friends had that problem too, and I'm sorry to say this but... they never got it working ! :(
I really don't know the reason for that, because it works for me. The only suggestion I can give, is to try out this:

It's actually PVK 2.1 with steam compatibility tweaks, MetaMod, amx, GrogBot and a bunch of custom maps. It's 67 Megs though, and I really can't promise that it fixes your problem.

Darn, I can't wait till next month. My bandwidth for this month is almost exceeded, so I can't d/l anything big. Next month I gotta check PvK and Sands of War...

its just that it doesnt want to work with any metamod version that is above 1.14.1 (thats the one included in the zip file you told me to download)

but man... what a hilarious mod :D
I was a captain pirate and I couldn't stop laughing my ass off while slaughtering everybody with my deadly parrot attack :D
and the wood leg sound.. while you walk... so funny

gotta try out being a viking now... RRRRRAAAAHHHH 8D

I found the bug!
To fix metamod for pvk add this line to metamod's game.h and recompile metamod

but something's weird... the spawn points don't seem to work... people always spawn at Vector (0, 0, 0) ???:(

metamod does NOT support PVK by default, even if the metamod website says the contrary... it's false :)

The PVK MetaMod included in the zip is old, and is not updated anymore.

Arr, found a bug from the patch!
LINK_ENTITY_TO_GAME(weapon_cutglass);

It should be cutlass, not cutglass. :D

I've sent an email to Florian Zschocke which maintains the metamod code along with Will Day so that they can fix the problem in the next version.
