Windows XP Service Packs -

If i have automatic update for windows turned on, do I still have to go to microsoft's website and download the service packs? Or will they get downloaded to my computer automatically?

You can check what service pack(s) you have installed by going to control panel -> system. I'm not sure if auto updates will automatically install the SPacks on your PC, never used it before.
