What is the deal with maple.
At uni I have to use it for some course of mine.
It is so annoying to use. And plus they expect us to do assessments on it and it ain't available to us as it isn't cheap apparently, so why should we have to do tests on something we can only use at uni.
Whats so special about it anyway.
You'd think they would be able to keep track of time. Oh well, I am also using another program as well called 'R' http://cran.r-project.org
Haven't tried it yet but its shareware so I hope it is good.
i'm currently learning matlab and used mathematica the last semesters at university. for mathematica there are relatively cheap student licences available.
there's some sort of "believe war" between mathematica and maple I guess ... but you gotta get used to each system, which needs a lot of work.
