That's the saddest thing about the whole affair IMHO: There seems such a strong -in fact, invincible- urge in so many people to have a strong leader who does the thinking for you and tells you what's good or bad. Yeah, just like Bush does. The main reason that he was re-elected was that north-americans thought that they couldn't change the president, now the country was so "fragile". Bush and his beligerant attitude seemed the most effective defense at the time.
