step by step install instructions:
1) login as root, and download this file:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o...ux-i686.tar.gz
and save it to /usr/local
2) open the console and type:
# cd /usr/local
# tar xzf firefox-1.0+.en-US.linux-i686.tar.gz
# rm firefox-1.0+.en-US.linux-i686.tar.gz
3) now you can run Firefox in /usr/local/firefox/firefox. You can create a launcher or symlink on the desktop and double click it will start FF.

Question: Are GNOME or KDE (as well as applications like OpenOffice.org, AbiWord, Mozilla/Firefox, etc) designed for Server use? (GNOME and AbiWord are officially GNU software btw.)
