Holy shit... this is REALLY bad. It was an interesting read, albeit quite a depressing one. Thanks for the link to this text!

Well, you know I hate those clueless guys who are so left that they would prefer to live in a Communist society rather than in a democracy and who keep repeating all the old Commie paroles without the slightest sense of reality...

but you got to admit one thing: Labour unions and strict laws to prevent such abuse as mentioned in the text seem to be necessary, and a high economic growth rate, which looks great on paper and makes every politician proud, loses much of its shine when you realize at what cost it is bought - and who pays the bill.

Right now, there's a debate in Germany about worker participation in companies... some want to modernize it, some neo-liberals even advocate its abolishment. It's a relief to see that even some leading German CEO's speak in favour of our worker participation rights, which seem to be quite unique in the world.

Btw: I always found "human resources" to be a disgustingly cynical, but at the same time very revealing term.
