heh, tha's pretty much what the prob was, I solved it... but the prob was I had the goddarn wrong power supply plugged into it... it was my darn ADSL router's power supply.... I now have another reason to add to why I hate telus... power supplies... It's my fault, but I'm blaming telus anywho, they kept billin' me for high speed internet after I tried to cancel a few times over cause I was out of range...
