I have the same board, and I have the exact same problem as yours when I play a small online game.
that is really weired. I think it's the problem of the board cuz this doesn't happen to my other two computers.
ok, you can try this, it works for me.
Run Winamp first and play a song, make sure you've enabled looping so it always plays. Minimize the volume (dont mute) so you cant hear anything from winamp. Now run the game your playing.
