about your question...
the "depth" of the explanations isn't the most important thing, what is the important thing is that the guy watching your clip must be assured that there is an explanation to everything... don't go too in depth, but talk about everything quickly. No need to give away all your mapping secrets before even being hired
Have the guy realize that you DID plan all the details and then he'll feel the need to find out more about them - then he'll want to see you in person again
