43 plugins??? holy sh*t
what's the use of having 43 plugins ??? o_O

BTW, if you have a dynamic IP, why not using a dynamic DNS ? :)

Re: Yet another realbot server

There are several dynamic DNS services you can use...

the most known is http://www.dyndns.org
The principle of dynamic DNS is that you register a DNS account (such as mycomputer.dyndns.org, or mycomputer.homeunix.net, or mycomputer.mine.nu since all these domains are owned by dyndns.org), and then each time your DSL or cable connection goes up (that is, each time you change IP), you run a little program to update the dynamic DNS with your new IP. You can do that automatically, with a script or whatever, there are tools available which do that (updating your DNS).

What do you mean by "it didn't work" ?

What do you mean by "it didn't work" ?

I set everything up, forewarding ports because im behind a router/firewall, typed the addy in my "add server to favorites," and... nothing...
i typed:
420blunt.servehalflife.com:27016
nothing....
i typed in my public server ip (the one listed on internet tab) and that popped right up...
not sure what i was doing wrong.
i need to clean this coke spill out my uiohjknm,7890 keys

It looks like you've registered a dynamic DNS account successfully but you never updated it once. Howdya want it to work ? :)

What is your dynamic DNS update client ?

Re: Yet another realbot server

ok im tryin this out again...
someone try this and let me know if anything pops up when you add this to your fav servz:
420blunt.got-game.org:27016

Re: Yet another realbot server

ping 420blunt.got-game.org
ping: unknown host: 420blunt.got-game.org

you still have not updated your dynamic DNS correctly !!!
I tell you, you MUST update it with your current IP once you register a dynamic DNS account ! No need to register 10 accounts in a row, it won't work any better !!!

==> What is your DNS updating client ?

Do you at least understand what I say ? o_O
