how do I get ivpbot to work with RB?
I already have RB installed & running but I want to run ivpbot so that they can learn more maps off them. I tried adding -dll ivpbot\ivpbot.dll to the target as mentioned elsewhere but that disables RB somehow.
Any ideas? |
Re: how do I get ivpbot to work with RB?
I made the liblist.gam point to the metamod dll, then in the command line shortcut I added
+localinfo mm_gamedll ivpbot/ivpbot.dll Theoretically, this SHOULD get both bots to work, but on my machine, CS crashes at random when this is done. so...blah... I'm not sure what else would work...Akimbot? Epod? Pod 2.5? |
Re: how do I get ivpbot to work with RB?
There's a different line for the target that's used, not the +localinfo crap.

This might work but I'm not about to test it.
You will need metamod 117 installed add -dll addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll to the steam cs icon target line Create a file in the metamod folder called config.ini with these lines: gamedll ivpbot/ivpbot.dll to get ivpbot going gamedll the/path/to/realbot's/dll to get it going Good luck. |
Re: how do I get ivpbot to work with RB?
Seems Realbot call the BotThink function of all players have 1<<27 (FL_THIRDPARTYBOT) flag set. So I don't think you can use IvPBot with RB...
I haven't tried Realbot WIP version though, the WIP version is a metamod plugin so you can try it out... |
Re: how do I get ivpbot to work with RB?
Ok I'm trying yet again to get these 2 loaded. I am running mEAN which is set in my liblist.gam file which loads metamod. Now what do I add to make IVPbot load & work?
I'm using amxmod, metamod's already installed. Tried the +localinfo mm_gamedll ivpbot/ivpbot.dll in the target which only closes the server instaed of starting it. Also won't work from autoexec. Also this is a dedicated server. I have tried all the steaps in the other thread which doesn't work. ivpbot folder is in hlserver/cstrike/ivpbot. I have the gamedll "ivpbot\ivpbot.dll line in my liblist.gam file but it doesn't load as far as I can tell. |
