Headshot bots
 

Hey guys

First off great website and forum :clap:

I am trying to find bots that I can use to train get headshots with. I would ideally like to run, on my own machine, a game with me against 3-5 bots that can only be killed with a direct headshot.

I have searched your forum but maybe not hard enough. I apologise if I have missed a thread but could someone point me in the right direction please?

Podbot with the mEAn mod will do the trick. I think there's also a metamod plugin to do headshots but I'm not sure.

bot_knives_only to make the bots use knife only.
bot_all_weapons to make the bots normal again.

This is for the built in source bot..

I dont understand mate. You mean so I can just try and pick them off without being attacked?

No, they will still attack, but they just use knives, so they are easy to shoot :)

I too am trying to create a similar practice head shot bot. Thank you Botmeister for answering a question I wanted know which was "is there some type of POD BOT program for CS Souce". It is sad there is not. BadBoyBenno in addition to what PhyRo has said you can disable the bots that come with source from attacking you by typing in the following within the game consol:

sv_cheats 1

then hit enter and type

bot_zombie 1

However disabling the bots from attacking you also at the same time unfortunately also disables there motion i.e. they are completely still, dont run, dont walk etc.
