A little help needed with my website plz
Heres the problem:
Help Needed with vBulletin. Well i installed the download system ecDownloads 3.2 Legacy for vB, and managed to get it kind of set up, but theres no add file option or anything (although i think i may have found out how to do that). The problem is that after installing the download system it has f**cked with the SQL Database settings, because whenever i try to edit usergroups etc... it says there is a database problem now i have had this problem many times after many different installations. Also i need someone to find/create us a vB hack that will auto resize all the images posted to a certain size. I can provide FTP and Forums Access to admin. If you can help please email: uklclan@gmail.com email or help me here I dont mind, but thats all I know ^ Thanks in advance. |
Re: A little help needed with my website plz
I hope you've got a working backup of your database somewhere, because if the download system has modified the tables structure, you're screwed.
Perhaps the version of ecDownloads you installed isn't compatible with your version of vBulletin ? Here we use paFileBase that is completely separated from vBulletin, it has its own database. I had to manually reskin it so that it looks like the forum, but as a result when one of them breaks down, not all the site is unusable. As for your vB hack, personally I wouldn't bother, I'd look directly into the PHP for the BB code replacement function (can't remember where it is, I believe it's in one of the inc_blablah.php file) and change around the [ img ] tag. Just change <img src=blabla> to <img width=X height=Y src=blabla>. |
