Nostalgic
I was reading some (old) realbot posts and figured i actually do miss CS 1.6...
don't you guys have that nostalgic feeling? I don't have HL1 on my computer right now, but there is a high chance i will reinstall it and get CS 1.6 again Just for the fun of it. |
Re: Nostalgic
I have a CS 1.6 thats modded for using WON, not Steam. I'd link to it here, but the site also has a non-Steam Condition Zero for download.
Also, I'm not nostalgic, I still play it once every month or so. |
Re: Nostalgic
I am nostalgic. Just not for 1.6 i play on an awsome server every now and then. I miss high school.
hey stef under your name you have some binary code. I am too lazy to figure it out but is it your name in binary or just some random 0's and 1's ? |
Re: Nostalgic
it means "MOD"

Re: Nostalgic
Trust me you do not want to go back to cs 1.6.....,
I have still got it installed and play it on steam with friends, only to find almost on every server we play theres a cheator, then some of my friends think its a cheat contest and go and get their hacks out too. I dont hack but usally leave as to being walled from the impossible. |
Re: Nostalgic
I have a hankering for the original releases, they were more fun somehow.
|
Re: Nostalgic
I have bought new computer parts and finally got some things up and running. To be honest, when i see CSS now, i don't want to see CS 1.6 anymore ;)

Re: Nostalgic
CS:S is fun. but its a completly different gameplay than the other. i do like source better though.
|
Re: Nostalgic
Yea and the difference in gameplay would be that the hitboxes work alot better in CS:S lol :D
|
Re: Nostalgic
Rofl. Well the hitboxes in CSS are worse. I saw a demo where in CSS the models are actually precomputed already (in their movement), so thats why you see in spectator mode all those weird kills. Ow well, server-side its all ok. But on the client-side you somethings think that its crowded with cheaters...
