Hello,

I would like to understand a thing !

if you use steam version of halflife :D

steam can't run in lan !
how do you test your bot ! (with internet >:( )
(i don't have any Internet connection)

how can i use steam in lan ?
some person say to me that there exist a
dedicated version of steam just using lan (for cybercafe)
is any body know it ?

Yes that's true. We all test the bot here online. Because you need to have a connection to launch steam.
Yes a café release of steam exists but it isn't free. This one require no connection. You have to contact the valve team somewhere on steam web site.

But look at the forums there. There will be steam release to play offline. You'll just need to have an up to date version. But the date of the release isn't know yet... soon maybe... but you know Valve... (look at hl2 !! :D )
I think this offline version exist but isn't released (why?). I saw in these forums that an official cs tounament used an offline steam.

There is (at least) a non-official (illegal so) release of cs 1.6 which allow you to play totally offline. But I can't give the link here (on the top of that, I don't remember it... :) )
But I've got it... and it works fine... even if I don't use it...

That's the truth!! xD I was just too curious... ???:( And I wanted to test more this "zbots". I'd like to do a match against the realbot! I'm waiting for racc...
