Just installed Quake 2 again. Bought it when i was a kid. Now, on max res, max settings, max everything. PLUS the superb music (i love that!).

You know what i also really like (it has been on my computer(s!!) since it came out) .... DUNE 2...

no wonder i made my own clone of Dune 2 :)

Never did play Dune 2 or Quake 2. I was always a C&C guy, so I never bothered to look to Dune 2.

And when Q2 came out my PC defecated itself in fear when approached with it, so I couldn't play it.

And now Q2 doesn't run on my XP box, so I've got a big hole in my geek timeline.

kickass, you can find all your fav tunes from the original C&C to Renegade. So your RA1 Hells March can be pounding on your comp speakers again. ;)

Quake 2's fun, I tried to get me bud into it for coop, but he sucks cause he doesn't wanna. :(

There's also a high-quality pack there Stefan, look for it, upgrades the graphics to close to quake 3 sweetness. :)

I have quite a few old games here too. For me, nothing in the world beats Doom and Doom II, especially when they've been ported to OpenGL (http://www.doomsdayhq.com/jdoom.php). I'm also a fan of Descent (the first one), ported to Win32/OpenGL as well (http://d1x.warpcore.org/). Back in these days they knew how to make great game music.

Descent, yes, ah, well i actually did not really like that game ;) I do know it ran very slow on my pc at that time :D
