Then why do I feel like I'm in a formless limbo, with a steadily increasing mountain of work/empty boredom on the horizon?

Where is this "golden age"? It wasn't school, and it certainly isn't now. Come on you old people, I know you're out there somewhere.>:(

I've tried filling up time with activities, but all that means is that as soon as I "step off the mat" as it were I feel isolated. bah.

If you're miserable, maybe do something else with your life? I was pretty unhappy with university, so I dropped out and changed my career.

Do things you're good at, and do only that. Scorn for all the rest, including school. Cheat on exams if needed, but get the hell out of here ASAP if you can't stand it. Find yourself what you're interested in, and emulate yourself on this road. Become the best in one domain (be it just party!) and widen things afterwise. Success brings self-confidence which brings success.

i just got a job tho :) as an Investment Broker for an investment company....very lucrative job :) fun too

Hah! I do things I am good at, and that are fun. Do something you can be good at is one I am following up of course, I picked up jiu-jitsu when I came down here in England, which is fun.

I'm just eating breakfast @ 1:15pm, so life ain't terrible you know! ;) (twas a friend's birthday) There was a hat deal in a pub we were in... we got all their hats. (I really don't want to see the word "fosters" ever again).

ANd now I must go to my 14:00 marketing test...

...which I could have done some more revision for. Well, at least I woke up with bits of fake tatoo stuck to my jawline. It would be better if the fish were biting though.
