Boo Fileplanet, and boo the IGN/GSpy unholy alliance. They rank right down there with EA on the evil factor, and being the antagonists of gaming.

Maybe, but at least they have that queue waiting system... better than keep refreshing to see if you can get a download spot... :P

And their filebase is very good :D

A good filebase is their only high point. Lows are:

-Wait time, low server caps
-Registry to get any service
-Subscription to get any decent service
-Fileplanet "exclusives"
-The fact that its Gamespy, they're media whores

Thankfully theres usually plenty of better alternatives to Gamespy, like G-Spot as was previously mentioned.

You might be right, Hangfire, but since I've been registered for a long time, and I just use it to get patches and stuff...

But I agree with something: Anybody who uses Gamespy software must be burnt to ashes. :D
