Little thing we work on
 

Well. In february i am gonna be on stage (again). And i am with a girl (fellow student) to produce some songs. She can really write good ones, but i also want to have some influence on it. So...

Well we agreed we would do one instrumental song only. She cna play guitar, and i play piano (with a little strings effect perhaps). I already had an idea, as we both have good ideas on the 'sober theme'. Here is a sample, and i hope you like it, the last few notes are experimental and its way from finished, but i was hoping for some feedback on this before we hit the stage in march/end february.

What sort of theme are you going for? I'd play this at night, when I'm not doing work, but much more I cannot say.

well, we have music that is in the sort of sadness atmosphere. She has music about 'ending something', which is symbolicly done with a plane. This could mean the ending of life, a relation etc. So its not happy hehe ;)

anyway, thats the 'theme'. So i think this song (sample) can fit in perfectly.

sounded pretty good partly.. it was kinad weird when it sudenly went up and back again.. the begining was like mad world.. ( movie danno darko)

with some work it may be alot better.. good luck..

yes thx. The 'go up' part is improvisation, because staying low makes it 'monotone' (boring)... so i am finding a way to get a bit more diversity.

A little variety would help, but keep the theme -a little bolder perhaps?

I can have a go at doing some drums for it, if you want... it definatly needs some sort of rhythmic support... The ending needs some work tho.
