See if HL2 will run in your PC! (There are also several other games, like Rollecoaster Tycoon 3, FIFA Football, Need For Speed Underground, etc.)
Unfortunely, it has to run in Internet Bugxplorer...

And just because I have a nVidia Geforce 5200FX 128MB (ok, it's not the newest, etc etc...) I can't have optimal performance? THAT TOTALLY SUCKS!

It will run on my computer, but it won't run on any nice gfx or something. According to that test, my computer can 'barely' run it.

It runs real good, but I need a new video card to make Doom 3 run better (it runs smoothly, just not at a high enough quality setting/resolution).

My suggestion to you TruB is to make sure you have enough power from your PSU. I learned that the hard way.

Alright, mine is sufficient enough to run HL2, i fell 3 bars short of the recommended PC....

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2806MHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 Ultra
Memory: 1024MB DDR400
Disk Drive: 120GB Western Digital
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Pro

I wouldn't use this benchmark test as a dead on source. The best way to test a game on a rig is by running the actual game. I've had some games (Doom 3) run just as good on lower systems than mine, so i wouldn't throw in the axe just yet (unless an upgrade is essential).

512 MB RAM
40 Gig HD
Geforce FX 5200Go
Windows XP Home (Legal! muhahah)

Ow, and all in a small laptop mind you!

Upgrading is out of the question, i will buy a new desktop (i am buying part by part) as soon someone donates 100 bucks on my paypal account :P
