"Storm" & "Slow" - new 'experiments' of music

Both composed completely by myself. Still experimenting with the programs and tools but i am getting the hang of it. This is great! I can code, and when i dont want to, i simply grab my piano and play something thats on my mind. I record it, and try to create something out of it. I better buy myself a bigger HD lol

The name 'storm' is something that is a bit song-related. FIrst its 'rushy' later it 'clears up'.

The second is really for 'stoned dudes' lol :D

slow..
the beats didnt do it for me was too much.. lower them. you know "piano". no stoner music for me.. alittle to slow.. it was like a waiting for something.. and suddenly i felt like it came back from the start.. dung dang... and was like again?..

storm..
the bzz in the back should stop earlier.. maybe come back.. but not that long at all.. storm could be something to work with..

slow is supposed to 'stop' and 'go forth' again. Its a little 'test' on that, since its hard to meassure the timing with self-made music. Also it is very hard to record multiple pieces on the exact same timing :) Btw, there are no 'beats' in the song :P

ah, you call that the 'beat'. Sorry, was taking to litterally ;) (BANG BANG BANG BANG). Anyway, yeah, perhaps it should be lowered, though i thought the chords and such make more noise , and when they fade away i want this 'tick' to be heard... perhaps its to loud though.

Argh! storm is awful, the synth sounds are too jerky -sounds like a record skipping right the way through.

Like slow though.

omg leagle lol

lol, well atleast leagle is not trying to 'get around the hot patato' (or something like that). Yes, storm uses some 'cut off' pieces of samples. This is mainly because i still cannot get it to work as i want.. and you figured it out right away :D

its tough to get 'fast' yet 'good' and 'simple' (and in 'ritme') samples... argh.

I liked slow though, if there was a bit of variation in the tune (which you can do) it would be great.

Great for those long mornings when you're wired. [especially since it isn't loud and thumping, like the techno I usually play in that state of mind. Won't piss off the neighbours]
