jump map movie i made
 

its only beta and doesnt feature all thing that are promised in the opening screen("actors" hehe)
but still it was a 2 day project so far.....my first CS movie.......check it out

it features a sneak preview of PMS's Cathedral that i have rebuilt.......just for jumping...it is really not the same cathedral :)

it was kinda cool, did u modify the gravity a little bit? some jumps look like they couldnt be made normally. some pretty nice jumps tho

no modifying of gravity at all.......those who dont jump cant understand how that shit is done..but its all with normal settings...i swear.......in my beginning of jumping i looked at many and said that fuckin impossible man!!

and now i can do them with ease.....double strafes and triple strafes are all possible.......
example........on flat ground a normal jump is 208 units long.......with a multiple strafes you can fly a whopping 238 units.......the longest jump to date.

and with a good single strafe you can pull off a 360 in the air...

you use strafe to get longer.. i know the older version of cs gave the ability runfaster when you used forward and strafe.. is that it?

awwww SoUlFaThEr man... your video makes 30 megas... I'm afraid I won't have the patience to suck it all with my poor 56k... :(

i have gotten rid of that beta and replaced it with a more updated version of beta2....so use the same link....but add beta2.rar

it now weighs 56.5 MB and is only almost half finished :)

Sorry pierre :( screenshots wont do you any good.....can you download it while you sleep? or when you know yer going to be gone for a day from home that you start the download before you leave?

otherwise, when i am finished with it.....i can burn it to CD and send it to you per mail :)

strafe and forward dont add speed anymore, but strangely...carrying a SCOUT makes you run faster.....

you strafe really hardcore with little mouse movement if you only strafe without forward.......but many things are better to do with strafe+forward. after a while you can then see which jumps need what technique :)

then yer a 1337 jumper when yer doing double or triple strafes in onje jump to extend yer flight time :)
