waypointing problem
Hi,
I've got a problem with waypointing, I'm working on de_prodigy2k and when I'm waypoint the ladder they have a vent or some kind of obstuction in the middle of the ladder. When the bot reaches the vent he gets stuck. Is there a trick or some kind of solution to work around this problem? I've noticed that if I make a waypoint through breakable glass the bot can learn they can break it and the next time they break the path immediately. Can this be done with the vent blocking the ladder?I've got a screen shot if want to see it but I got to make it smaller it's 2.5 meg.:( thanks joe |

Hi, found these waypoints on www.madnessworld.de . Donīt know if they are good or bad, but maybe you can try them. You can "waypoint" through glass and walls if they are breakable, bots will shoot at them, no problem. If you have other questions, ask ;-).

I realized that some waypoint were downloaded with the map and the problem remains, the bots don't shoot through the vent when on the ladder. |

Had a look at it, yes, they wonīt shoot at the vents and get stuck at the doors. You can play in this beautiful map with bots, just follow these few steps:
-Download and install the PinkBits-applications (Spawnpoint-editor): http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mike.pi...s/PinkBits.htm -Load the map, select the "Entity-editor". -Search for "door" -delete all door-entities. -Search for "break" -delete all breakables with less than 100 health. Save the changes. Have fun with the bots, the waypoints by X-Tender are very good ;-) I got this map from here: http://server.counter-strike.net/map...e=de_prodigy2k Have fun! |
