What's the deal with the 11,000 joebot win32 downloads in the filebase? Is there some sort of bot downloading the file repeatedly? Just wondering if anyone else noticed too?

heh yes that is alot of downloads.
If that's generated in about 4 months i'd say joebot is a winner. 8o

it's just that nobody else seems to use the filebase ... I linked the filebase on my download page

but no worry, the files itself are on sf :)

sf tells me that this file is downloaded 300-400 times a day

If these stats are true there are more people downloading JoeBot than there are CS players knowing what a bot is, I bet.

guess why there is a bug near to that counter on sf :)

well, but the filebase stuff can be true ... I have a link to my download section on counter-strike.de, so that might be the reason
