I thought Quake2 has a built in bot.
I can't remember.. played it a little.. years ago..

nope, Quake3 has its built-in bot, Quake2 hasn't

There was one, but I just CAN'T even remember what it was called.
It was a long time ago.
Are you playing Quake 2 ?
I still have the lithium setup exe if you're interested.

There has been CGF-AI but I don't think it has gone open-source.

CGF is for the Quake2 MOD "Action Quake2", not for plain Quake2.
Also the botepidemic.com is down so it's nowhere to find... the www.cgf-ai.com doesn't have it.
