Bots still crashing my server
 
Well I've tried absolutely everything to figure out why my server crashes. I've been doing tests over the last week to try and discover why but to no avail, the best i can do is get them to run for 10 hours or so before crashing.

When the crash happens it's always the same, no error reported just an incomplete line in the logs. It can crash at anytime, not when a bot is joining/leaving or at map change, just anytime it feels fit.

If I run everything on my server it crashes about 4-5 hours but if I disable HLGuard it crashes about every 10 hours o_O

This is what I have running..

Metamod v1.17
win32 addons\adminmod\dlls\admin_MM.dll
win32 addons\statsme\dlls\sm_cstrike_mm.dll
win32 addons\statsme\dlls\logd_mm.dll
win32 dlls\chicken_mm.dll
win32 addons\hlguard\dlls\hlguard_mm_i686.dll

Just to point out if I run the server with just IVP bot it crashes after 5 hours or so, same type of crash with no errors reported, just a half written line in the logs. I would be enormously gratefull if someone could suggest anything, this is driving me nuts. My server host 'Recongamer' say they can't help as bots are too unstable and they don't support them, maybe there right so guys you are my only hope.

I'm afraid the only hope is that the bot developer does extensive checks over all the bot source code to find the cause of your crashes. I can tell you already that a bot source code is such a huge thing it is only reasonable to assume there are SEVERAL crash bugs, and not just one to find. That doesn't make them easier to fix... :(

If I were KaCaT, I'd check all my pointers for nullity, all my angles for possible overflow, and all my edict_t pointers with FNullEnt(). It's a huge work, I know :)

*edit* and all my arrays[] for possible overflow too :)

Thanks Pierre, so it seems we may never get a fix :'(
