HEY I'm Back but broken
I am sure some of you have noticed my absents here. Or not. A couple weeks into summer I was involved in a horrible car accident. I broke both legs, fractured my rist, neck injuries, 3 broken ribs which cause internal damage, and was in a coma for 2 weeks. No one was killed in the accident. A driver drifted into my lane and had a head on collision. I am back and I hope to catch up on things I have missed around here.

naw, I'm just kiddin, sounds like a pretty hostile accident! Glad to hear nobody died. How's it like waking up from a coma? |

A mate of mine had a serious car accident, long term after effects included severe muscle wastage in his legs -if you're told to do exercises, do them. |

I was involved in a accident 3 months ago totaling my truck. chick made a left turn hit a jeep and spun into me, and i hit her head on. Hey hope you recover and best wishes to your vehicle. |

The funny thing is I don't remember anything from the accident to when I came out of the coma. It was just like waking up from sleep only I didn't know where I was. The scariest part was waking up and hurting and having casts all over me and tubes hanging out of me lol. Everything seems to be recovering correctly, or so I am told, I don't have any perminate internal damage just brused some things. Thanks for all the support guys really! I hope to be back waypointing.

you have to excuse me but i found the coma thing very intresting.. i never broken anything.. i almost fainted once..
its not like live a safe life either.. i played all kind of sports.. aswell as building crazy and high wood houses in trees.. where a guy actually fell down and fainted at impact.. when i think about it.. he actually got problem with his back nowdays.. |

Holy cow, what a shock! 8o Man, I am SO glad you're alive and recovering well. You could have died in that accident, and chances are we'd never even have noticed the reason of your absence. Jeez, stories like these serve to remind us that most of the time we complain about our "problems", we're just some snobbish, weepy pussies who don't know to appreciate what we've got. :|
Man, I hope you get well soon and enjoy your second life - 'cuz I think it IS a bit like a second life. All the good luck in the world, and keep us informed about your progress, because we do care about it. :) |

Perhaps we must have some setting in the USER CP. "Assumed dead after <insert time of inactivity>".. Wher eyou can put "x days" , or "x months" ... |

or just make some sort of application that an relativ can start on your comp that will send a message to every community, that the user is now unavailable..

Hmm yeah I have actually also thought of what to do with all the communities I am involved in if I die. You can also assume me dead or something if I don't post in here for several months. Lol @ $eu_crey$$on and the combine joke:D |

I was watching something called trauma while eating. Some poor sodding yank stepped out in front of a bus 5 hours into his stay. Brain damage, collapsed lung and torn aorta. He wondered how he'd missed the bus when he finally woke up -poor sod looked the wrong way probably.
I remember listening to someone stuck under a tram in Den Haag once. I didn't go and look. Blood curdling shrieks. |
